Process for Applying for Diocesan Financial Assistance

Is there a program/ministry initiated by your congregation that could use financial support from the diocese? Have you always wanted to engage in another ministry or maintain an old one, but just did not have the finances to do so? This is to announce the process for applying for financial assistance from the diocese.

As part of the annual budget for the diocese, convention allocates funds for the programs/ministries of the diocese on the congregational level. If you would like to have your program/ministry considered for funding, please contact Rob Rogers at .

As you may know, financial assistance from the diocese to a parish is a line item on the Program Budget. Requests for financial assistance are considered by the Financial Assistance Committee, a sub-committee of the Finance and Property Committee. The committee reviews requests in the Spring for inclusion in the Program Budget presented at Convention in the Fall for spending in the next calendar year.
